A Small Tornado Hits David
Aug 25th, 2007 by Don Ray
Olivia, you have competition south of the border. Yesterday morning I took Sofia’s mother to the airport because she is going to spend a few days vacation outside of Panama. Here is a photo of Sofia with her mother, Dr. Sussan. Sussan appears to be happy and Sofia appears to be pondering what she is going to do while her mother is away.

Upon returning to the house, I learned that children are the same all over the world. Sofia , in the blink of an eye, managed to mark up two walls in the house with a pencil. Now Sofia is only 1 ½ years old. Olivia is now 2 and more advanced in her artistic ability. Given a little more time, I think that Sofia may equal her peer in Texas.
In time, Sofia will learn that a Marks-a-Lot marker will create a longer lasting picture. Given a little more time, she will be able to reach in the drawer that contains lipstick. It was a long time ago when my kids were that age and I guess I have forgotten that all young ones are similar.
I am just relieved to know that Texas isn’t the only place with instantaneous tornadoes.

Be strong, Don Ray. This, too, shall pass. But enjoy the heck out it while it lasts and just smile at yourself.
You are correct Frank. Sofia likes to come in and sit on my lap while i am on the computer. She must have something to say because she keeps wanting to get to the keyboard. Don’t be surprised if you see a post from her some day.
Hi! Beautiful picture of Sophia and her mom. Regards, Hilda
Hi Hilda. It is easy for me to take a beautiful picture when I have beautiful subjects.
