I Can´t Seem To Get Caught Up.
Aug 20th, 2007 by Don Ray
Since I returned from the US, I seem to have been busy every day, but I can´t see very much progress. I think most of my energy has gone into something related to PCs and I am tired of messing with them. I still have several more tasks related to my PCs that I need to do and I just can´t seem to clear them off my ´To Do¨ list. I have a few other chores, but none are all that difficult. They just require doing them. Maybe if I list my ¨to Do¨ items it will help me to get organized.
- Backup all my photos to DVDs. While I have them backed up to an external drive, I need to archive a fair number and get them off the hard drive.
- Fix the failing photo posts on Chiriquí Chatter. I still have several posts whose photos are missing since I reorganized the Photo files on my hosting provider´s server.
- Restore my calendar reminders. If I don´t have a reminder on my PC for birthday´s and other important events, I just forget them. Don´t ask how I lost the calendar file.
- Order a good USB card reader for the Olympus xD cards. I received a cheap reader when I bought the camera, but it will not read the xD cards. I just need to buy an Olympus brand card reader. Since my reader isn´t working, I have to load the photos into the Apple and then transfer them to the Linux PC.
- Pick up new Chiriquí Chatter cards. They should be ready this week.
- Get new driver´s license. The process will begin in Chiriquí August 31.
- Clean up my PC area. It is completely disorganized right now. After the last PC failure the cabling is a mess.
- Play with Sofia. Sofia is visiting for a couple of weeks. Sofia was here last May and has grown a lot.
The list doesn´t seem too over whelming, but it still wears me out thinking about it. I think I will just focus on number 8 and let the others slide for a little longer.

Sounds like a great day or two to just relax and enjoy yourself and Sofia.
#8’s link to Sofia is broken.
Fixed. Thanks.
dear don ray,

quickly! i am sure she is changing daily have fun! ellen
By the way, Don Ray, is Sofia as busy as Olivia? From the sound of it, Olivia may be leading the class in keeping adults occupied.
Hi Frank and Ellen. I have to say that Sofia is a real sweetie. She doesn´t seem to get into any of the trouble that Olivia does. Knock on wood.
Hi Don,
Just think of all the great Olivia stories you’ll have to embarrass her with, when she is with her teenage friends! payback is great!
Have fun playing with Sofia, I have this great mental picture of you and Sofia laying on the floor pushing matchbox cars around, with you making tire and motor sounds.
It will be fun in about 10 years to see Olivia and Sofia together. I am sure both personalities will have changed some in that amount of time.
