I Am A Happy Camper

This post is being made on the Linux PC, which Micro Technology serviced. The problem was the power supply. It was fixed within 24 hours of turning it in for repair. The cost of repair was $55 ($35 for the PS and $20 for labor).
This is a photo of Abigail Cano, who did the repair. My opinion is that Micro Technology has the best PC service center in Chiriquí. Thanks Abigail!

Woo hoo! Gotta love that Ubuntu sticker too.
Glad to hear it wasn’t more than the PSU.
Hi Tuxi. Yes I was very pleased. Now that it is fixed, I can tell that it had been failing for some time. I don’t know what the PSU had to do with increasing the boot up time, but now it boots extremely fast. For the last month, it was taking a long time to ever get to the memory check part of the boot.
One of the controlling factors in CPU and RAM speed is voltage, so if the voltage supplied to them was low, they were underclocked. Glad you got the computer .

Thanks Henry. Another question answered. The PC is running well now. It may be fast enough, I will give up thoughts of upgrading it.
