In the past I was told that the building next to TGI Friday’s was going to be Banco Banistmo. Since that time, HSBC acquired Banistmo and it appears from this sign that it is going to be a HSBC branch.

Plaza El Terronal Phase II Update

I took the opportunity to check out the construction, of Plaza El Terronal’s Phase II, today. The building on the corner is Lumicentro. One of the workers said that it should be open by the end of August and the rest of the stores around the end of September.

As I was going to pick up my mail today, I noticed that Hertz has taken over the building that used to be TAMBOR. Obviously they are planning on renting a lot of cars. That shows that tourism in Chiriquí is continuing to grow.

Chiriquí Chatter OS and Browser Usage Observation
I was just looking at the statistics of the various operating systems and browsers that are used to read Chiriquí Chatter.
For the current month of August the top three browsers are Firefox (53%), Internet Explorer (40.3%), and Safari (2.1%)
