Just a short note to let everyone know that I have returned. I will have more to write after I unwind, which will tell you “How I spent my summer vacation”.

It will take me a little while to get back into the swing of “Panama Living”, but I can tell you that I am glad to be home. While I had a wonderful time, it is always good to get back to the place where you hang your hat.

I would like to thank all that wrote emails and comments, while I have been absent. Your thoughts and kind comments are what makes this blog fun for me.

I feel like it has been an eternity since I left and I have several thoughts and observations that I will share with you, when I get unpacked (both bag wise and mind wise).

For now, please accept my thanks for not abandoning this site while I have been out of the country. Chiriquí Chatter will be back in full swing as fast as possible.

Welcome back Don. I’m headed your way tomorrow from PC. The new direct flight from Washington Dulles was great. A 4.5 hour flight instead of 8 is always a good thing. Glad you had a good vacation.
