Looking Fit and Acting Feisty

I went up to the BOOKMARK this morning, because I heard that Hal had returned from his vacation in Panama City. I am pleased to say that he is looking great and sounding like the Hal we all have known and enjoyed.
Hal said he no longer felt like he had a turnip shoved up his butt and could even stand the smell of sancocho again. It is good to see a touch of the old Hal humor coming out.
Hal will return to Panama City in another month and is hoping for a clean bill of health. I am hoping that is exactly what he gets.
In the meantime, why not drop by the BOOKMARK and pick up a couple of dozen books and say “hi” to Hal. I know he would like to see you, especially after you buy a couple dozen books.

Walked to Bookmark today. Bought several bags of books and visited with Hal and Michael. Hal is looking good, says he got that clean bill of health we’ve all been praying for. Bookmark is no longer for sale and he just got in over 2,000 new books! Well actually, “new” old books, you know what i mean - it is a used bookstore, after all. The cookbooks are great! And there are still 50 cent (peso) racks on the porch. Then there is always that feeling of comfort of being surrounded by books (in English!)……
We have enjoyed your blog for years, first from Atlanta and now we’re here. Keep up the great work!
