Well I have to admit that I have only seen the Remington version of the Norelco here in David and they were somewhere around $35. I think I have seen the Panasonic that I paid $90 for in the US selling for about the same at AudioFoto. I would not hold up much hope for finding a Norelco repair place around here.

However if you do, let me know and I will post it. ;)

Whoa! I remember paying $78 for this Norelco. If they've gotten so cheap, maybe that's what I need to do.

Wait a minute - what's "cheap" in Donspeak?

P.S. If you see this - then maybe your fix worked. But I'll still try Tuesday.

Hi Rich - I am glad something on this pitiful site is worth remembering.

Sorry I can't help with a razor repair. They have gotten so cheap that when mine goes bad I just throw it away and buy a new one.

Don, as I do with most of these little store and servicing tips that you run periodically, I put the details of El Marquez into my contact database with appropriate tags so that I can search/find it later. This comes in mighty handy six months down the calendar as, say for example, when the trusty Casio wristwatch suddenly starts to dim and I find myself saying, now where did I hear that there was a good watch repair shop?

Which brings me to the current (recognized) gap in my own personal western-Panama knowledge database. Can you, or your readership base, come up with a "taller de servicios" for electric razors? My trusty Norelco rotary is making some strange noises as it makes it's daily journey over my own physiognomy. Not to mention that it's batteries (which are inaccessible due to a screwhead design unknown to western civilization) have some time ago stopped performing their portable duty and cannot be changed by the owner.
