Hi Ron. I am still looking for a good buy, but if I don't find it I will just wait till after Leopard comes out and see what happens next. I don't want a laptop because I don't want another display. I have a IOGEAR switch that I use to switch my KB, mouse and monitor from one PC to the other. Currently it has my PC running XP and another running Linux. I have two slots left and was thinking the mac Mini would allow me to get in the Apple market.

No reason not to buy a mini Don, whether Apple discontinues them or not. Over the years I have purchased lots of Macs at the end of their production run. Maybe you should look at a Macbook, or a used iBook.

Hi Abe. The iMac is ok for a person that only needs a single PC, but I never have liked having the computer built into the screen. If I want to upgrade, I don't want to have to upgrade both. That is why the mini is nice, you use your original monitor, KB, etc.

However, it is not like I need another PC. I just need another toy.

Hi Don,

I bought my son a mini several years ago. He loves it. He also has other Mac computers and uses them in his work in Florida. He thinks it is great.

I have PCs but also an iMac. A 20 incher. I have tried to sell it. I made a bad choice and got Parallels and Windows to put on it and did but it is a pain in the ass to switch from one to the other and then there is also the problem of two PCS sitting here with anti virus stuff on them and now I need that for the iMac because I put Windows on it. So I took the stuff off and it sits here and I seldom use it. If you were close I would sell it to you cheap.

Today, the final pictures of the series, "A Day in the Life of a Robin," is online. I couldn't decide which picture to use. I hope you get to see them.
