Caryl - My experience from talking to over 20 retirees that decided to move from Costa Rica says that for relaxed retirement, there is no comparison. Panama has Costa Rica beat. It is cheaper and you can't beat not having to translate money into colones. At one time Costa Rica was the place to go. I don't think that is true today. Caryl - My experience from talking to over 20 retirees that decided to move from Costa Rica says that for relaxed retirement, there is no comparison. Panama has Costa Rica beat. It is cheaper and you can’t beat not having to translate money into colones. At one time Costa Rica was the place to go. I don’t think that is true today.
