Farm For Sale

On one of my Saturday trips to the farmer’s market, I met Luis Muñoz and on a subsequent trip he told me that he had a farm he wanted to sell. I told him I would be happy to place a post on Chiriquí Chatter and perhaps an interested party might see it.
Last week I received the following information via the Chiriquí Chatter Chat facility. I met with Luis last Saturday and he gave me six photos, which will follow later in this post. These were regular photos, so I had to scan them to be able to post them. The scans actually turned out pretty good. I was amazed. Luis speaks only Spanish and I think his son wrote the information. If you call Luis’s cell number, be prepared to speak in Spanish.

Since I am currently unable to email msn or hotmail address, I can’t verify that the email address is correct. If all else fails, send me an email and I will try to get it to Luis on a Saturday. Or if you are in the David area, drop by the Saturday farmer’s market. Luis is usually the first truck on the left as you face toward the airport.
I know little about the property other than what is above. From talking to Luis last Saturday, he said he was asking $50,000 for the land, which is about one hectare in size. For your conversion, one hectare is equal to 10,000 square meters or about 2 ½ acres.

If I remember correctly, Luis said that the property ends at this corral area. I notice that there are electric connections here.

Luis said the land had a clear title. I don’t know what the access is to water or phone.
As with any thing of this nature, I leave the due diligence up to those that have an interest. This is a “for Sale By Owner” situation. I have told you all I know about this land based on what I remember from talking to Luis. Anything further needs to be discussed with Luis or his son. You can try the email address that was used to by Luis’s son and if all else fails send me an email addressed to Luis and I will try to take it to him on a Saturday when I go to buy some fruits and vegetables.
