Just as another update for march 12, my Internet speed this morning showed improvement and was running as high as 100 Kbps which is still well below my contracted level.
However this afternoon it has dropped off to about 30 (+- 10) Kbps level. I have to get used to dialup speeds all over again.
I just foudn out that new company, SI Wireless, is setting up Wi-Max high-speed service in Panama City, the Pacific beaches, and Altos del Maria!
This is great news, as I din’t think I would be able to get high-speed internet in Altos, as I do not have a line-of-sight with either of the two antennas providing service.
