Plaza El Terronal Phase 2 Update
Mar 9th, 2007 by Don Ray

I stopped by to see how the work was going on the next phase of Plaza El Terronal. They have made a lot of progress. I talked to one of the engineers and he said the first place to open would be Lumicentro and it should be open by the end of next month. He said all of this area would be open by the end of July.
I asked for an update on the stores that should be open by July and I was told the following:
Lumicentro, Felipe Mota Wine Store, Movistar, Conway, Subway, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Wendy’s plus another, I don’t remember. I am glad that Dunkin’ Donuts has replaced Cinnabon from a previous visit and rumors. Plus with Wendy’s coming in McDonald’s has some fast food competition.

I never made it to David because of carnival, but all the locals in Panama City told me that David was on average “hotter” in temps than PC…is that about right?
I guess, but I can’t tell any difference between David and Panama City. One of the weather URLs in the link section shows average temps for all locations in Panama.
PC was at my MAX for my own heat index…don’t think I could STAND any hotter place. I found that I had to adjust my schedule for early morning and evenings and SKIP the rest of the day outside! TOO freakin HOT! I was at carnival on the asphalt it must of been 110 and watched the cops in FULL dress, leather boots, long pants and sleeves with amazement! How the heck could they take the HEAT all day?
Gosh I never realized you were such a softy. You just need a little more time to adjust.
Back to Plaza El Terronal - glad to hear that Dunkin’ Donuts will finally make an appearance after almost 2 years of rumors. Wendy’s is a new addition to the list though… now if Burger King would just show up, my husband would truly be a happy man - a Whopper and a donut. Who could ask for anything more? L.
I would like a Papa John’s Pizza.
