If you have looked at the Wild Orchid weather site recently, you noticed it wasn’t working. I received an email tonight that it was back online. Click on the above figure to bring up the weather site. The URL is also in the Chiriquí Chatter Link area.

Took a look at the weather information and it’s very professional. The layout is excellent. The best I’ve seen anywhere. For a person living in Boquete, it’s an excellent tool to determine if you need an umbrella or not before going out.

Don, you said earlier, you will come some day to Finland. Dick`s weather is too cold to you, what about our weather today. If you look at my site, can you believe, that people went to work by walking and biking, children went to their school and so on even we had almost -40 Celsius and it`s same -40 Fahrenheit.
In this moment it`s only -27 Celsius, but during a night it will again be over -30 degrees Celsius.

Yes, I am with Omar on this. I have never seen any weather information like this here in the states. About all we get is weather.com and that works but isn’t anything to send off or to post on a website. We are supposed to get more snow Monday and Tuesday. I think we still have about 5 inches left from the last time. New York in one area has got over 10 feet in one day or one 24 hour period or something. Saw it on the news again today.
Omar, Abe - This is a private weather station and uses PC software to read the instruments and it is live. I was impressed when I saw it the first time and am glad it is running again.
Leena - I will make it to your part of the world one day, but I think I will choose the warmer months.
It appears that the only instrument currently working on the site is the one that provides the date and time.
Wendy - I am not sure. It appears to be working for current information, but the history information doesn’t look like it is being tracked.
