Terronal View Apartments Update
Feb 6th, 2007 by Don Ray
I stopped by the apartments that are under construction in Terronal. The last photos I took are here.
They have made a lot of progress as you can see from the following two photos.

I had some time so I went into the construction area to see what I could learn. I was told that some of the apartments will be available later this month and next month. Tile is going down and many have been painted. I was told that the remaining work would be done quickly.
It looked like there were four large apartments containing 3 bedrooms and an additional maid quarter. The rest will be two bedrooms with an additional maids quarter. The rooms appeared to be a descent size. There will be secure parking in the rear of the apartments.
The worker I spoke with didn’t know what the rent was going to be.

hello don,
Intresting website! I wasn’t planning on visiting panama just yet, but fortunetly I have two different 10 hour layovers there. Do you think I can check out the city in that amount of time? What do you recomend I do? $325 for a 3 bedroom/2 bath!!! I might just stay
Thanks, Jess
Hi Jess. I assume that you have 10 hour layovers in Panama City. You woul be able to see a fair amount of Panama City if you could get a taxi driver to act as a tour guide.
I do not know what the apartments above will rent for.
Hi DR
Just an update on these apartments - it is my understanding that these are condominium units and are for sale. This info came from some folks I met up with who had contacted the realtor with the same question.
L.
They are listed as condos. I will be surprised if they all sell and they will have to consider rent.
Hi Don Ray,
Am looking for more info on the Terronal View condos & will pass along what I find out.
A couple of notes to Jess regarding rentals: be prepared to sign a 1-year lease, complete with one month’s security deposit; shorter term rentals may be available but will be more expensive. If you’re not planning on being here full-time, it may be more advantageous to talk with the management of a favored hotel regarding monthly rates.
Be prepared to completely furnish the rental apartment/house - right down to the electric hotwater shower that Don Ray mentioned. Friends have told stories of rental properties being offered to them without kitchen sinks, cabinets or even light fixtures. Furnished rentals are available and they will be priced (much higher) accordingly.
There are wonderful opportunities here in David, in Chiriqui, in Panama - for us, the neighbourhood and building we chose is great. And our neighbours have been great as well. However, as in any venture - Caveat Emptor - do your homework.
Cheers!
I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a reliable property management service in either Boquete or david. I am having a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house built on the Brisas Boquetenas community and for a couple of years I would like to rent it out.
I would like it to be managed by a property management service whilst I am away as my husband and I hope to retire in the next 3-5 years.
