Distinguished American Citizen Award
Feb 5th, 2007 by Don Ray
I just received the following in an email from the American Citizen Services in Panama City.
Distinguished American Citizen Award
Panama is home of many American citizens who have contributed to the positive image of the United States in Panama. Ambassador William Eaton is interested in recognizing these U.S. citizens in the Distinguished American Citizen Award Plaque, located in the Embassy Chancery main lobby.
Ambassador Eaton wants to extend this invitation to all individuals to present nominations. If you know an American citizen who merits this award, or someone who has been in Panama for a significant amount of time and has contributed to a positive image of the United States in Panama, we encourage you to nominate their names, attached by a short explanation of their goals and why this is significant. Please include your name, contact number, as well as contact information for the nominated individual.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, February 16, 2007 in the following email address: Panamaweb@state.gov or by fax at 207-7352.

Ok, ok, Don, we get the hint, and I am going to just that.
Tom, there is no hint intended in this post. Just to be clear, I post all ACS emails I receive. I do not selectively post some and not others. If I receive an email from the ACS, then I post it.
I started receiving ACS emails shortly after I attended the US Counslar Outreach meeting in David last July.
Just kidding
