How To Clean A Toilet In Panama
Jan 9th, 2007 by Don Ray
- 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a “power-wash” and rinse”.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.
Not only will you have sparkling clean cat.

But you will also have one very happy dog.

Love it. Will try it today. Lassie will enjoy watching and be happy also. She got her weekly bath yesterday.
You just touched off a war with Cat Lovers! I hate cats…but I love that pussy
What a great post! Again, you’ve brought back memories - this time of my own cat L.C. The only water bowl she would drink from happened to be the toilet bowl - as she got older & less steady on her feet, she quite often came away looking like the cat in your posting. Thanks for the smile & the memories!
Jerry - Glad to help with a new idea.
SE - Yes, I think the white pussy cat I posted is adorable. I can see why you loved it.
Linda - Always glad to bring back memories to you.
Actually that last post was a double ontondra!
Actually the best way to clean a toilet is using regular COCA COLA!!! Just pour it in there and wait 10 minutes—it will be sparkling clean! It really works.
M
SE - if you say so.
Melissa - Yes but it not nearly as much fun.
Don, this has got to be the funniest thing we have ever seen on the web. You guys, quit it! We love cats and dogs but this is truly tasteless humor, which we love as well. We are coming to Panama for the first time January 31 for about two months. We are retired teacher travel addicts, 44 countries, latest trip outside US was two months in our tent in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia. Thought we might do the same, but looks like it may be too hot. Whatcha think. Don, we can tell you are a special soul. Hope we run into you in your area or on life’s highway for torturing kitties (ha!).

Hi Robert and Laura,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Say hello to my daughter and her family in Austin.
I hope you enjoy your trip here. You are definately comong in the hottest time of the year. Rains will start back in March and it will cool off.
Hope to see you while you are here.
Will look for one sensitive and funny guy with possible cat scratches and a sly look on his face…
Been living in Austin since 1976, though actually have a house in Llano 65 miles northwest and a little houseboat on Lake Travis. Wonder if we do know your family…..
Today’s high will be 36, artic cold front. Austin got flash floods of 5 inches in the last 24 hours, but not here in Llano. Hope it raises Lake Travis back up.
Know any campgrounds/pensions/hostels in your area?
I have been lucky so far and avoided all scratches from felines. Probably have a few other scratches, but that is another story.
My daughter actually lives in the Leander area of Austin. I don’t envy your weather that I am seeing on the TV
