On my daily perusal of what is happening in Panama and in Chiriquí, I came upon a post in Boquete.org. I decided that I should give it a little space on Chiriquí Chatter.

I almost bought a house in Henderson Nevada 1 month before the Tech Wreck on the stock market,I bailed out when I lost 65% of my net worth…but in hind site I actually should have followed through, that same house has tripled in value.
Thanks for posting this, Don Ray. At first glance, the current allegations of wrong-doing by this individual appeared to me to be somewhat unsubstantiated. Then I realized that a tier two sex offender who is out of compliance with the reporting requirements of the state of Nevada has in not doing so doing committed a felony. Wouldn’t this cause both his u.s. driver’s license and passport to be invalidated?
I do not know when he came and the time it takes for the US to put a hold on the passports. I do know after reading the US reports, I felt that it was worth posting.
Had the information not come from the US Embassy, I would not have posted it.
HI, I was staying at Villa Marita over new year and we found this guy prowling the grounds (he apparently had broken into a villa on Christmas day and stolen an Ipod). The villa’s owner tried to apprehend him and he beat him with a golf club. We subsequently disabled his motorbike which he had hidden at the rear of the property and informed the police who took it away. The guy is a dangerous thief and sex offender…. approach with caution and inform the police if you see him

Access to http://www.boquete.org has been, at least temporarily for now, suspended. I am simply tired of the carping, complaining, and bad attitudes. After I calm down (and assuming that I do calm down), normal operations may be restored at some point in the future.
Until that point in the future, please make today a nice day for somebody, perhaps even yourself.

Hi Wendy. I had heard that Boquete.org was closing down for a while. I guess it has the same problems as some of the Yahoo groups once in a while.
