[...] This morning I drove down town to update the status on Parque Cervantes. You may remember on my last post in December, I was told that the target was the end of January. The new target is March 19th to be ready for El Dia de San José and the David Fair. Good Luck. A lot of work has been done, but there is still a lot to do. [...]

SE, Thanks for the comment. I happened to be at the right place at the right time today.

Frank, I am glad you like the the park is looking. I think it is really going to be pretty when it is finished.

Abe,

Thanks for the comment. I will have to remember the before and after suggestion.

Beautiful. It is so nice to see a city manifest itself in public parks and places for the people and not stick the wad of money in governmental palaces and Cadillacs. I think the crew are doing a great job. You will have to do a "before" and "after" set of pics of this place -- Parque Cervantes.

Don Ray, a special thanks for this article. Somehow Parque Cervantes sticks in my mind as the heart of David, and it makes me feel good to know they're doing a good job of it. I look forward to sitting in the shade on a hot day.
