I know Edi from many years ago. She's a very hard-working young lady but most of all, an honest person. It has taken many years for her to accomplish her educational goal and I am very happy for her.
I see that she has increased her recipes. You should also try her "patacones" (fried green plantains) which I consider the BEST in all of Panama.

Thanks for the comment Abe. I would never have thought about not having a thanksgiving get together when I was a kid if I hadn't read your piece.

Oh my that was nice. I assume you had not noticed her while you were taking pictures? Happy endings are always nice. Tell her that Abe Lincoln said, "Hello" to her all the way from Brookville, Ohio.

I wanted to wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving Day too.

And, thanks for stopping at my place and commenting. I don't remember when we started to celebrate Thanksgiving but it was probably when we had more money and had moved to a larger town and the stores had turkeys that were dressed and ready to roast.
