Jan you are correct. I miss hearing the stories he would tell as well. It has been many years since he was really able to carry on that type of conversation, but if you ever heard one of his stories, you never forgot it.

Today in Oklahoma we are celebrating Veterans Day. It brings to mind Uncle Harold and how proud he was serving during WWII. How many times when we were kids did we hear his "war stories" and he was not even in a war zone but we thought they were pretty neat and they really were. He was always proud of serving his country and the American flag. I will miss him this year on Veterans Day probably the most he was a true hero in my book. I think of all the others around here that served and feel a sense of loss as I see them getting older and passing on. Freedom is a great thing isn't it. Jan
