Today was the day for the monthly afternoon meeting of the Yahoo Group of David.
It took place at the Restaurante Mi Tierra Chiricana on the InterAmerican Highway. If you are driving on the InterAmerican Highway toward Costa Rica keep an eye out for this Delta Gas station.
The Mi Tierra Chiricana restaurant is directly across the InterAmerican Highway.
As I arrived the chickens were being cooked for the evening crowd.
Everything on the menu is good, but the flame–cooked chicken is the specialty.
Today’s turnout was good, but a little smaller than the previous time.
My meeting notes for the formal part of the meeting follows:
If you couldn’t find the meeting notes, it is because there are none. This is a very informal group and this is strictly a social gathering.
If you want a formal gringo meeting with an agenda and guest speakers etc., you have this group confused with the Boquete Tuesday meetings.
Hope they are still going strong in early 2007! We’ve missed it by a week and will miss Dec. by a week. But next week your book is on it’s way! Thanks for the pictures Don Ray.

It’s much time for this comment but how was the night jazz for the ones that went there ? btw, do you (yahoo group of David) still going there for meetings?
I hope someone else can answer this. I didn’t make it to the jazz night here since I had gone to Romero’s night and the Moon Valley Jazz nights. Both of the jazz evenings I heard were great.
