Parque Cervantes Continues
Nov 6th, 2006 by Don Ray
My friend Jerry, from Cerro Punta and the keeper of the Panama End Point website, was in David today, so we decided to meet for coffee this morning. While I was waiting on Jerry, I took a couple photos of Parque Cervantes.

I have decided that these workers are getting paid by the hour and don’t want this project to end. I found it hard to see any progress since I took the last photos.
I thought they might have it opened by Christmas, but based on the amount of change since last time, I don’t think it will open until 2007.
Jerry and I had a good visit comparing his 60 degree temperatures and my mid 80s. If you want to see some beautiful country keep checking Jerry’s site. He is adding photos every day.
When we were finished, Jerry and I walked to Dollar 1,2, 3, Since he had things to buy there we parted ways and I headed for home. If you live in this area, this is a store you will probably know. If not, here is a photo so you will recognize it when you see it.

As I approached Oteima, I noticed that there is more preparation for construction in the downtown area.

The only thing constant here is change.
