A Few Close-Ups
Nov 6th, 2006 by Don Ray
I selected a few close-ups from the photos that I took of the Parade on the 3rd. It is too bad that the full sized photos can’t be displayed. There is much more detail than is obvious in the smaller 500 pixel width photos I use in the blog.
Here is a small sample of some of the pretty faces that were in the parade.

This shows that Panama remembers the important roll that the US played in Panama gaining its independence from Colombia.

HI
MY NAME IS CRISTY TELLO. I LIVE IN DAVID AND I AM VERY SURPRISED HOW MANY ARTICLES AND PICTURES THE WEBMASTER HAS TAKEN IN THIS CITY. I AM STUDYING ENGLISH IN COLLEGE AND IT´S GOOD TO READ ABOUT THE EVENTS AND PLACES HERE.
IN PANAMA EVERYBODY LIKES THESE HOLIDAYS, I REALLY ENJOY IT. IN THE MORNING THERE IS A PARADE AND AT NIGHT MANY PARTYS IN ORDER TO CELEBRATE OUR INDEPENDENCE FROM COLOMBIA AND FLAG´S DAY. THE NEXT 28TH WE WILL CELEBRATE OUR INDEPENDENCE FROM SPAIN. I HOPE THE FOREIGNS WHO ARE LIVING HERE KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR CULTURE.
NICE PICTURES. I ALSO LIKE PHOTOGRAPHY
Hi Cristy,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Since you are from David, I doubt if you have found much that you don’t already know about. You may be able to add some information to some questions that come up every now and then.
