Trouble Is A Coming

There are storm clouds in the sky, and thunder is rolling in.
Preparing for a storm should happen long before it begins.
I’ve heard it said in everyone’s life a little rain will fall.
If thunder sounds like trouble, then I’m hearing trouble’s call.
I can see the lightning crack and I can smell ozone in the air.
Yes, trouble must be coming soon. I can I can sense it everywhere.
I hear the wind a whistling. There’s really going to be a blow.
Call me the trouble weatherman; cause trouble is what I know.
Trouble, like the weather, is not easy to predict.
But I’m sure trouble is a coming, and I feel it’s coming quick.
I can see the storm clouds boiling, and they are rolling through the sky.
And there is a sound like you’d expect from a 1000 banshees when they cry.
The dogs they are a howling, and the cats are running scared.
All creatures sense what I suspect, and fear can strip you bare.
Its to late to board the windows; its to late to run and hide,
Cause trouble is a coming and I think its right out side.
