Does Disney Link To Chiriquí Chatter?
Aug 17th, 2006 by Don Ray
This strikes me as very strange. I get statistics that tell me a lot about the people that visit Chiriquí Chatter. One bit of information I have tells me about people that come via a link from another website.
Recently I have had a very unusual site rise to the top of the list. The URL is http://www.disney.com/. Normally I can go to the site for the URL and find a link that points to Chiriquí Chatter, but there is nothing that Disney has that connects to my site.
Currently Disney constitutes over 21% of my external links. That is over twice the next highest contributor of external links. It makes me wonder if the Disney site has been hijacked and is being used as an agent for a lot of the span comments I receive. I have searched for an email address so I could write Disney, but I have had no success.
I would be interested if any others websites have a similar anomaly such as this. I can account for almost every other link as being valid, but not Disney. Of course it could be just because Chiriquí Chatter is a little Mickey Mouse.

Hello!
I get hits from Disney too! I suspect Disney is thinking of building a theme park in Boquete.
Saludos y un abrazo,
Jimi
Well there have been rumors before about Disney putting a park in Panama. Might as well start a Boquete rumor.
I have one site that is the same URL but visits 8-10 times or more per day. It comes fromo Pittsfield, Illinois. So I followed the link back and discovered it is the town where my cousin, the president, visited many times and the town is famous for the houses where he visited. Since I am related, I assume that someone there is visiting my blog and my website to pick up pieces of information they may be able to use since I do publish things about my cousin and had a while site on my site about him. I had published a lot of information on it that was not on any other site about President Lincoln. Maybe they got half way through copying something and I took it off and they keep coming back to see if it is back up yet. I don’t know for sure. It all seems perfectly normal though.
That example makes sense and there seems to be some connection. Disney to my site makes no sense whatsoever that I can determine.
