Elektra Opens

On my walk today, I noticed that the ELEKTRA store (in the old BAMVOL building) has opened. I took a quick walk through and saw nothing to really distinguish it from other stores except that it is promoting buying on a payment plan. All items show the payment amount on the tag. I don’t remember seeing anything telling me how many payments is expected.
They are making it as easy as possible for a Panamanian who can’t afford a $300 TV to be able to get one in his house. He may not notice that that $300 dollar TV is going to cost him $500 to $600 dollars.
I was told that the store comes from Mexico. That would explain Banco Azteca having a branch in the same building.
