A Dreary Day
Aug 13th, 2006 by Don Ray
The day I took the following two photos in Panama City had been a pretty dreary day. The dreariness really doesn’t come through in the photos. It was pretty much without direct sun and when I took the photos it was just sort of gray.
The apartment building I was in was a very nice building. Covered secure parking and not far from Parque de Omar.
It is kind of interesting to see how they force housing into whatever land is available. Both of the following photos were taken out of the rear apartment window, which is facing toward the Pacific.
The first photo has a white house that is behind a twin apartment building left and next to the one I am in. To the right, you can see the red roof of a house behind the apartment building I am in. This house has absolutely no curbside access to the house.

This second shot shows a continuation of the house’s rooftop. You can see its back yard to the rear. It is blocked to the front by my apartment building, to the left by the property of the white house, the rear by another house, and to the right by a school.

I guess this is an example of waste not, want not.
