Guitars Made In Panama City
Jul 19th, 2006 by Don Ray
I think I have mentioned before that one of the things I have always wanted to do was to be able to play a guitar. While I was in Panama City I happened to go to a store called Supro in Albrook. They have all sorts of things in their store from exercise equipment, painting supplies, Victornix knives, etc. and I noticed that they had a large number of guitars (both acoustic and electric).
As I was looking at the guitars another person picked up one and strummed it a little. I asked if he was familiar with their guitars. He said not really, but that he had recently been given a guitar that was made by a man in Panama City. He said he loved his guitar and said that any guitar that this fellow made sounded good.
He didn’t have the contact information with him at the time and told me to drop him an email and he would send it. I received his email yesterday and am going to follow up on this project.
In case you are interested in getting a guitar built in Panama I will put the contact information below. Also if you know the builder or someone that has purchased one of his guitars, let me know.
