Thunder Bumpers
Jul 18th, 2006 by Don Ray
I have been in some big rains here in Panama, but I don’t remember it ever being accompanied with much thunder. Last night’s rain brought with it some of the fiercest thunder I have ever heard. I have been in huge electrical storms in Oklahoma and Texas and last night far exceeded any of the ones I remember.
The whole sky would light up and when the thunder hit the whole ground shook as if a bomb had just exploded. Every blast set off all the car alarms in the neighborhood. It was amazing.
Maybe it was just atmospheric indigestion and it now has it out of its system. At least the morning looks beautiful and all the birds a chirping. It is so pretty that I plan on doing a good bit of walking this morning and soaking up a little sun before it gets too hot. From what I read, it sounds like our heat is far more acceptable to what is happing in a lot of the US.

Have you ever lived in Fl? We have big time thunderstorms in the Tampa area often losing power. We\’ll be visiting David in the fall, can’t wait, possibly buying in David for retirement.
I have never lived in Florida nor have I been there during a major thunder storm.
Hope you enjoy your trip and thanks for leaving a comment.
