One of the large stores in Panama City for house bathroom fixtures, showers, kitchen sinks, etc. opened its doors about 15 days ago in David. I stopped in today and took some photos.
Need a steam room? They have you covered.

One of the mobile phone options in Panama is MOVISTAR. I have used it since I moved here in 2003 and have had good luck with it. When I moved here it was BellSouth. It has worked well for me all over Boquete, Volcan, and even into Costa Rica.

David’s answer to McDonalds is Mr. Burger. You will find them many places in David. They seem to do a pretty good business, but I prefer McDonalds for burgers. I did like the chicken I had there.

From reading some of the posts in the Boquete.org files and assuming that the information is correct, then C&W’s decision to prevent its users from utilizing VOIP is the reason why speeds are decreasing. They are changing their backbone transmission protocol.
