Crippled And Worthless

My Internet connection today really sucks. My down load speed is fluctuating between 0 and 150Kbps with an average of around 56Kbps. Normally I get 230Kbps download. Obviously Pandora is not good today. Cable & Wireless (aka Crippled And Worthless) must be having some problem.
This may have been the reason I had such poor Internet TV reception last night. The consistency related to all provided services in Panama is that service quality is inconsistent. One day it may be good and the next day it may be poor. You may not have any power outages in months and then you may have several in one week. Water shortages occur. The telephone service may be off for no apparent reason.
I hope they solve their problem soon. They are hampering my Internet pleasure.

I read a post on the boquete.org site that had some information on C & W’s problem. Glad they are not our provider. Anyway you might want to read the somewhat technical post.
