WOW Australia Downed Japan 3-1

If you are not watching the World Cup Soccer, you are missing a treat. The last game was a great one. Japan looked like a winner with about 8 minutes to go, having led by a single goal the entire game.
Then the tide turned and Australia scored three straight goals. I almost felt sorry for Japan. They and their goalie had impressed me the whole game. Thinking back on it, it was just bad judgment by the Australian goalie that allowed Japan’s goal. One of Japan’s members hit a chip shot and the Australian goalie came too far forward and it just floated over his head.
Just as I was beginning to think that size didn’t matter. I bet that Australia was a head taller per man. That has to be a tough loss for Japan to loose late in the game.
