I Love Peanuts

I’ll never forget the day that my daddy,
Bought me my first Peanut Patty.
I doubt if he realized what he had done,
He had created a peanut addict by buying me one.
The more I ate, the deeper in addiction I sank,
And I soon moved on to Peanut Planks.
Now you don’t need to offer me a Milky Way, cuz I prefer Snickers,
When it comes to candy, I’ve strictly a peanut picker.
I also like peanuts in peanut butter, smooth or chunky,
No matter what the form, I’m a peanut junkie.
Take a little peanut butter and, with chocolate, you cover it up,
You have another favorite (Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup).
I like um chocolate coated in clusters or individual,
Another way I like um is in peanut brittle.
I like um plain and I like um salted.
I like um raw, I like um roasted,
I like um dipped in honey, slightly toasted.
Yes, it’s no secret; I give all the credit to my daddy,
Cuz I’ve loved peanuts from my first Peanut Patty.

Something else we have in common. Dick
