Hi Lara. Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to leave a comment. I bet it would work just fine. Seeing this photo tells me it is about time to make another cake.

Lindsey: wonder if the Kahlua flavored syrups would work? You can find them on amazon.com or (if you live near one) a World Market. I don't remember if the brand name for them is Torani or DaVinci, but it's definitely one of those.

Don,
If you want to use fresh pumpkin you can just make the filling as you would make a pumpkin pie. I actually just bought solid pack pumpkin made my own filling and went from there.

Broadwary productions in Panama - well not in David.

I will try the muffens just as soon as I find a can of pumpkin.

Thanks for dropping in.

Don,
I somehow can't see you in the kitchen!! Why is that?? Anyway the cake looked good. Here is another bery easy recipe if you like healthy muffins.
I see you like to start with mixes!!

                                     SPICE MUFFINS
l spice cake mix
1 can pumpkin pie mix (30 oz. in a can)
1/2 C flax seed (I used Oklahoma Pecans)
1/2 C. minced dried apricots
Mix together and bake 350 degrees until done. Makes a big batch with some for the freezer. I bake them in my new Mother's day present, a silicone muffin pan. I love the silicone pans but they are hard to handle. Deb found one at Williams Senoma that has fixed the problem The silicone cups are fixed in a metal frame.
Enjoy
I went to Tulsa yesterday and saw the Disney Production of the Lion King. It was really great and is being held over. The costumes were out of this world and it was well done. Do you get broadway productions in Panama???
