I was just listening to a US news broadcast on TV and it was saying that US gas prices have jumped 20 cents in the last two weeks. The price jump in David was a little less. 91 octane jumped about 10 cents from the last time I posted. It is currently $2.94 per gallon. Premium (95 octane) is around $3.23, which would be about 15 cents a gallon. I am not sure how some of the local taxi drivers are making it. By the time they put gas in their car and stay up with the minimal car maintenance, it can’t be putting too much in their pockets.
Price on gasoline typically changes on alternating Thursdays, if I remember correctly. I don’t remember if the price should change this week or next. I think it is next week. Gosh, do you think it will go up again?
The good thing is nothing is that far in Panama. I can get any where in David in no longer than 5 to 10 minutes. I am glad I do not have to drive across the city of Dallas every day.
What is thecurrent local price for diesel?
For prespective the current downtown Kodiak is price is $3.25.
Later,
Jack
It would be some where around 40 cents cheaper than 91 octane. Sorry I didn’t record the price.
