Buen viaje. Bon voyage. Have a nice trip. You know sometimes you just need to get away, relax and see something different. When that happens to me I know I can count on Viajes Crisol.
Viajes Crisol is one of the oldest travel agencies in David. It is owned and operated by Lucila Molina. I know her as Lucy. Like her father before her, she continues the family business. I say business, but it is more than a business for Lucy. It is her life. It is her passion. She loves what she does and she loves bringing pleasure into peoples lives.
Let me introduce you to her.
Señorita Molina is a most interesting person. She really knows the travel business and is a resource you should remember. She speaks excellent English. I remember talking to her on a previous occasion when she was encouraging me with my Spanish. She told me just to get some books and newspapers in Spanish and to read them out load. She said that many years in the past she wanted to go to France and wanted to better understand the country. She felt that it was important that she speak French to be able to learn and enjoy her trip. So using the method she has advised me, she bought newspapers and books in French, and taught herself.
The ladies that will probable do the most in researching your trip and finding the best deal will be Heidi Martes on the right and Licenia Samudio on the left. If you stop in, tell them I sent you. Oh and buen viaje.
Oh, I almost forgot. On June 15, Viejas Crisol will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. Señorita Lucy says she usually has something special to say “thank you” to her clients. Stay tuned.

Best place to rent a car in David? And … is a rental car the best mode of transportation for a first time visitor? Want to see the area from Boquete to Volacn over a 7-10 day span.

I don’t know if there is a best place to rent a car. There are several rental companies at the airport and Budget is in town. If you rent, I would suggest a 4×4 because it is easy to find roads that are not too friendly to the regular sedan.
Boquete and Volcan are easy drives from David.
