When I was thinking of moving to Panama, I discovered the Panama Yahoo Groups. After moving I continued searching these groups for wisdom on things that I didn’t have the answers to related to Panama.

I finished the book State of Fear by Michael Crichton this afternoon. I enjoyed the book. It is timely because it uses the growing environmental change paranoia as the basis for the book. Since I had watched the recent 60 Minute segment on the environmental change, it was even more interesting.

Or does it? Here is today’s gasoline prices in David at one of the Texaco stations. The Plus is 91 octane which is equivalent to 87 octane in the US and the Premium is 95 octane or 91 in the US. Notice the price of Diesel compared to gasoline.
