Countdown To The End Of La Feria de David

Counting today, there are just four days left in the Feria de David. I keep telling myself that I am going to go, but I keep finding other things that I need to do and I haven’t made it. I understand that Saturday and Sunday will be the two days having the largest attendance. That means that I will go Friday or I won’t make it.
I didn`t know, what does Feria mean. So, of course, I put it in Google.
Now I know, and you could go and take better photos from Feria in David.
I had planned on taking photos, but so far I have been to lazy. I still have one day to consider it.

It is a pleasure to read your website. I was born in the highlands, and graduated from a school next to the fairgrounds in David.
Please, go and visit La Feria de David and take lots of pictures. That event brings good memories to me.
I find very interesting to read about my homeland through the eyes of a foreigner because it makes realize the simple everyday things that we take for granted, and sometimes don’t apreciate.
And thank for the poems you write, so enjoyble. Maybe I can get some inspiracion from you write a poems about my three doxies !!

I think I only went once to La Feria de David. I know I went because I saw a photo! It convinced me that the visit was during the late seventies: you know, big hair and funny clothes
Hmmm, some people will probably consider the clothes of today “funny” someday.
