Thunderstorms In The Forecast

I see the forecast for David says showers are a possibility. I’m personally ready to see a little rain. I guess the rainy season is getting ready to begin.

I looked your weather and I must say it could kill me after one week. I can bear 30 degrees C a couple of days, if I can swim every hour in the cool water as we have in summer. Water in the lake of our summerplace is two months near 20 degrees C. Some of Finnish people swim during winter. There is the hole in the ice and they only visit in water. I have done it too, but only few times just as experiment. It was good feeling after that. When we were children, we went to “swim” in snow without clothes after sauna. In sauna we have 80 degrees C, but we are in sauna only 15 - 30 minutes. And now you will say Crazy people. But we must be a little crazy in this weather and we can manage very well. This weather has always forced to work, so, this is the good work climate. And we have Nokia! And F-Secure : ) And our relative, the cousin of our children, is now in Uruguay working in this pulp factory project. But it is the another story.
I guess it is what you get used to. I have become used to the weather here and I love it. I am better in this weather than I am in the cold. I have put Finland on my agenda to visit, but I don’t think it will be in the dead of winter.
Hi Don:
FYI, today it rained a little bit in the City, more like a drizzle, during the morning. It was nice to see and feel rain again. I’m sure the birds and the flowers enjoyed the humid treat. It’s forecasted that it will rain or drizzle again tomorrow. I hope it does.
Regards,
Omar.-
P.S. That poem of the red-haired dame was very sweet.
I think I had about 15 seconds of rain today. Guess it takes a little to prime the pump.
