I’ll Skip The Chicken – Pass Me The Fish

I just watched the 1995 movie, Outbreak, on Cinemax. When you watch that movie and you put it into the current context of the bird flu morphing into a human transmittable virus, it really can make you think.
I wonder if Panama is doing any planning about what it is going to do when the bird flu reaches Panama. From what I read it is just a matter of time before this problem reaches all corners of the earth.
There’s no need to spend a lot of time with Bird Flu concerns. Government preparation is prudent, but this may never become a worldwide pandemic as there is a natural life cycle to many of these communable diseases which make them self-limiting.
Well, I hope you are right, but there have already been several human deaths related to the bird flu, so time will tell.
