I Loved The Yellow Rose Of Texas

But I have to tell you; it has nothing over the yellow that appears every year around this time in Panama on these beautiful trees. I don’t know the name of this tree, but it surely does brighten my day.

Hi Don:
The name of this beautiful tropical tree is “Guayacán”. You can see it in Panama in bright yellow (as this one) and pink.
In Panama City, there is a neighborhood which boasts of having the largest population of Guayacanes in the city. When you drop by, drive by Betania.
Just my two cents worth regarding this beautiful tropical tree.

Omar.-
Thanks Omar. I am glad to have a name to associate with this tree.
