Super Baru Gets an “A”

I just got back from Super Baru and I have to give them an “A” for effort in wanting to keep the business. The face-lift is almost complete. I think the outside is complete.
Work is being done to the inside as well. Their choice of ceramic tile was good and they have added a wood finish around the windows.
Currently they are putting up wood trim inside.
I also saw a sign on the Inter American Highway that said Chiricano Como Tu. That requests all Chiricanos to take pride in Chiriqui and support one of their own. Not a bad ploy, but I still think everyone will go to El Rey if only to see what the difference is. I can only think that competition is going to be good for everyone shopping in David.
