What a Great Week!
Feb 11th, 2006 by Don Ray
I feel like I got a lot accomplished last week. I have a new PC up and running under SuSE Linux 10.0. I can’t say that I have all features running, but considering the initial problem with the BIOS, I am happy with where I am.
You probably didn’t notice, but I upgraded the software (WordPress) that runs Chiriqui Chatter to version 2.0. The fact that you didn’t notice, indicates that that migration went smoothly.
I upgraded the photo album software as well and that didn’t go as well. At the present time I have a problem that prevents me from uploading any new photos to the album. That won’t prevent photos in the blog, but I will have to solve the problem before I add any more photos to the album.
I inquired with Cable Onda about their cable service and Internet service and am seriously considering switching providers. I will have to make that decision this month.
However, my to-do list for next week is growing fast. It is going to require a little self discipline next week to get everything done that I want to get done. Maybe I should have said a lot of self-discipline since I prefer doing things I like rather than those that I don’t like.
Remember to let your pantries start to become a little bare the next few days. El Rey opens Wednesday if they hold to schedule. I intend to make a good evaluation of what it is carrying that I haven’t been able to find in the current super markets. I still haven’t looked at the Furniture Store yet. Gosh, I guess I am adding more things to my to-do list.
