What’s Happening!
Feb 2nd, 2006 by Don Ray
Well, I am finally settling back in the groove of being in David. I spent the last month visiting friends and family in the US, collecting all the information that is required to file taxes, and completed my time away with a week in Panama City.
Now that I am back, I have my plate full with tasks to complete. Of course doing my taxes is at the top of the list. There is nothing I hate worse than that. Well almost nothing.
My second task is the one that has me most interested right now. While I was in the US I picked up my motherboard for the case I bought last year. I got a ASUS A8N-VM CSM and a AMD Athlon 64 CPU, and 2 gig of memory. I started putting it in the case last night.
I really like the way the Cooler Master case is put together. Everything is designed to go together easy. The hard drive went in like a dream. The motherboard also was easy to install. I did notice that I am probably going to have to buy a couple more fans to cool the system, but I am sure that Alex at INFOX can help there. I hope to get it up and running by the end of the week. Probably the biggest problem will be getting everything working with Linux.
I hear my project calling me. Gee it is good to be home.
