Windows Live

It is no secret that Microsoft and Google are in a war for users. Google has made a tremendous encroachment into a world previously dominated by Microsoft. You can tell that Microsoft is taking Google seriously as a competitor. The battlefield has moved from the store shelf to the Internet. That is where you will find Microsoft staging its response to Google with Windows Live.
I noticed that on my Netscape Browser (based on Firefox - you should try it), that there was a message stating, “Firefox support is coming soon. Please be patient
”. Now when in the past would Microsoft have announced that it was supporting any other browser than IE?
Now for a test. Currently, you will have to use IE, go to Windows Live and if you have a MS Messenger id, login. You will see all your latest messages from hotmail.
If you don’t have an ID, you can do the rest, you just won’t see hotmail emails.
Now click “Add content on the left sidebar.
Next click advanced options. In “Subscribe to a specific feed by entering the URL below:” enter www.chiriquichatter.net/blog. It will place a RSS feed for this website under “My Web”.
This battle of Information Age Titans is going to be interesting to watch.
