New Yahoo Group (The Panama Forum)

If you are thinking about moving to Panama, in the process of moving to Panama or newly moved to Panama, you probably have several questions. I know when I was thinking of moving here in 2002 I had tons of questions and one of the sources of information I found was the Panama Yahoo Groups. These areas can be a good source of information. I have been inactive on the Internet for about a year and a half and on my return I saw that some of my old favorites had changed and were now a forum for promoting individual self-interests.
A new Yahoo group has recently formed, and I hope it maintains its mission of providing information. I see that it has already populated a large number of files. So if you go there, I would recommend that you take a little time and peruse the information that is in the files, links, and databases before you jump in with your question.
Now, I am not saying that my recommended group is the best, but currently, it is aimed at assisting new comers to Panama and not individual self-promotion. There are several good Yahoo Groups, but my recommendation is The Panama Forum.
