Eternity

I never realized before, how much time, is an eternity,
But today I realized, it is any that time you’re away from me.
When you are gone the minutes seem like hours did before,
I count each and every second , till you’re in my arms once more.
And when you’re here, in front of me, the opposite occurs,
Time speeds up too fast it seems, so fast it is a blur.
I have to savor every hour, every minute, and all the seconds,
And store them in my memory to recall in the absence of your presence.
You have become such a part of me, that when you’re gone, time just stands still,
And with everyday that passes, I need more of you and always will.
Take my hands and hold them tight, and look deep into my eyes,
Feel the magic of this moment and enjoy the mystery.
And from this day remember, I will love you eternally.
